Merry Christmas Happy New year etc... Have neglected this blog for some months now.
Here are some pattern things I've been playing around with. made from coloured pencil scribbles that have been munched and replicated 100x over in photoshop.
Have recently been involved with a craft market called "made on the left" with my trusty partner in crime Melissa. We had about 5- 6weeks to plan everything, suss out what we wanted to sell etc.
I decided to sell some prints. Framed and unframed. I also dabbled in some crafts, made my own coasters, decorated them with some photography and drawings of my own. Sold some other bits and bobs. The weather was crazy on the day. Very windy and rainy and stormy, luckily everything was indoors and the public still rocked up. My coasters went off like a frog in a sock! Sold them all! I must say I was rather chuffed.
I always love the feedback you get from people, some are really interested in what you do and how you create your stuff. Loved yapping on about things with ze public.
Here are some photos of the day, our stall setup and some of the little trinkets I sold.
I've started to see crazy things. Skeleton gloves on display in Woolworths for $2.00, dancing pumpkins singing "moves like jagger", budget lollies with questionable content but HEY they're shaped as brains & limbs so why not. ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR. Where our little country embraces quite the American holiday, and we do it kind of OK. Kid's will knock at my door and I'll hand them an apple. House parties will be organised, any excuse to dress up as a complete goof and get "MuNted" ... and I can finally chuck eggs at some neighbours I be hatin' on and get away with it. Win. So HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERAY BODAY. Hope it's a gruesome one
Was feeling 'Day of the dead' vibes today. So I drew this little number to get it out of my system. Really enjoyed drawing this, and am rather chuffed with the outcome!

Busy days as of late.
But I don't want to be a slack person! So I thought I'd chuck up a few things that I've "doodled" (heh).
All pretty half baked in terms of completion but hey! That's the way I roll at the moment. Not that I'm proud of that, but at least I'm drawing!
Will hopefully be doing some more markets in a few months time. So if that all goes smoothly I'm sure I'll have finished pieces to flaunt. Aww yeeeii.
